Welcome to Thornton's Holt Camping Park

We are a quiet family Camping Park, in the rural hamlet of Stragglethorpe, south east of Nottingham, close to Radcliffe-On-Trent and Cotgrave.

Thornton's Holt offers spacious pitches on level grassland, carefully lanscaped with mature trees, fruit orchards and gardens.

We have a relaxing and friendly farm type atmosphere with cheeky free range hens wandering throughout the park.

Relax and enjoy the great outdoors

Experience the great outdoors at Thornton's Holt.  Our park is beautifully landscaped and creates stimulating environment for children and adults to explore with open areas perfect for play.

We have spacious hardstandings & grass pitches available for motorhomes, caravans and tents throughout the winter.  From November to the end of March we stay open, just using hardstanding pitches.

Christmas and New Year - If you want to be close to your grandkids, far from your own kids, or just get away from it all, then try the alternative Christmas and New Year at Thornton's Holt.  We are open throughout the holidays for you to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Nottingham is great for Christmas shopping - hop on the bus from Thornton's Holt, it's about 15 minutes into the city.

Our reception staff are available to take bookings between 9 and 5 Monday to Friday.  If you get the answer machine, leave a message and they will call you back.
